Why it feels different.

Bisat means a spread laid out for celebration, and that is what I pictured while I placed these little paper squares into their checkerboard pattern. Every square is rolled by hand, set close to its neighbour like guests arriving for a festival. I made this for anyone who grew up around mirror work and mosaic tile and misses seeing it every day.

1) Handle with care — each piece is hand-rolled from fine paper strips and finished with a protective sealant. 2) Splash-resistant, not waterproof — wipe dry immediately if it touches water; avoid perfume, swimming, and prolonged humidity. 3) Feather-light and comfortable for all-day wear — safe for sensitive ears. 4) Store flat or hang separately in a dry place, away from direct sunlight, to keep colours and shape intact.
